Welcome All-Stars to the Finale. This season has been revolutionary; I couldn't be happier with the efforts the 3 of you have put into this competition. I have decided to change the final task of the season. I wasn't attached to the tasks you each created unfortunately. Please follow along carefully.
This will be a 4 part finale.
Part 1: All 3 of you will partake in the task I have provided. (Winner advances to Part 3)
Part 2: The 2 that failed to impress will compete in part 2.
Part 3: The winner of Part 1 and Part 2 will compete. (Winner picks who they want in Part 4 - Sending 1 designer home).
Part 4: The Final 2 will submit a 5 piece collection of their choosing.

Mushroom
PART 1: This is a bioluminescent task; taking inspiration from light, nature, fungi, etc. You will be creating a design that matches the tone of the set above. You will also be posing forward wearing the same hat I am. Please note your design will not be edited. You must create the illusion yourself. Good luck.

You definitely portrayed the fungal attributes quite beautifully. The ruffles and layered texturizing really made this design stand out. I enjoy how ominous and provoking it looks. Overall this is a great composition and interesting take on this task. Well done.

Majesteux
In terms of layering it's quite simple; there are however a few redeeming qualities. The spots on the skirt and chest are placed very creatively and proportionately this works with task given. Not as strong in terms of layering but a valiant effort. Good job.
Creative palette and interesting placement of fabrics. I really love the cluster around your neck and how that draws the focal point. However the majority of the design is so disjointed from the hat it almost looks out of place. The smooth textures, though contrasting; they seem too distant for what I was looking for. Thanks.
Issus
Great attempts at PART 1. I genuinely see the creativity and thought process being spilled out of each of you. The designer I feel did the best was the one that had the most creativity and uniqueness to their design. Congratulations ICEARBR. As a reward for your efforts you are advancing directly to Part 3. Well done.

Prom
PART 2: For the next part of the Finale; you will be creating a design that is fit for a prom. Keep the design fun, functional and cute. You will be photographed dancing; please ensure you account for movement in the process. Good luck.
Majesteux
The functionality of this design is on par; The drapery is gorgeous, ardent and inclusive. It had a vital role in my decision. I really appreciate how well it worked into the design as a shawl. The pattern was fun and showed off characteristics I attribute to your designing style. Overall a great design that showed how well you listen to the task given.
Issus
Far from diffident; I admire the bold cascading patterns you've entwined in this design. It evoked so much control and creativity. I think the use of colours was great, it worked in more ways that one with the black ruffles. I think where you missed the mark was the movement. The design doesn't incorporate the movement I was looking for. That was a vital role in this part of the task and I wish you had thought about that more when designing.
Great attempts at PART 2. This was a very tough decision. I admire how different these designs were and how well they worked with the task given. However one of you had the edge and I have to award that designer with the win. Don't let this loss discredit your design as it still stands strong. Congratulations MAJESTEUX. As a reward for your efforts you are advancing to Part 3. Well done.

Sparkle
PART 3: For the next part of the Finale; I ask you to take inspiration from geodes. Create and design a look that alludes the opening of a rock formation. Reveal the inner gem. Remember this is your last chance to make it to the final stage of this competition. Good luck.
Majesteux
This is lazy and you know it. Considering the circumstances this week; you have a safety cushion. Thank god for that. The structure was daring, the execution was lackadaisical. I don't see very many redeeming qualities in this design. Perhaps the middle of the design was the most fascinating, even that is a stretch. Definitely missed the mark this week in terms of showing your creativity. Thanks.
One of your better designs to-date. I really admire how creative you got. The rock formation you created with the use of the scarf and movement in the poncho shows how versatile and invested you are. I adore the intricacy of the blue fabrics and how well they work with the task given. Great job this week.

Interesting results for PART 3. I admire how invested the 2 of you have been in this competition this season. Though this may have been a bad week for you, Majesteux. This is still a learning curve and I'm glad you aren't shy. That being said, there can only be 1 winner this week and it's very evident who that is. Congratulations ICEARBR. As a reward for your efforts you are advancing to the finale and get to decide who will be joining you . . .
In an interesting turn of events, Issus has decided to selfishly seal his own fate. Being the first and only All-Star to self-eliminate this season; robbing every past designer the opportunity to be in the finale. I have made the executive decision to revoke his 3RD place ranking. In an attempt to make this somewhat fair. Riverstonepeach will be granted 3RD place and will account for the prize amount that goes with it.
